  • As part of a campaign to raise awareness of the dangers and penalties surrounding underage drinking, Egg Harbor Township High School members of the Atlantic County youth organization STAND Up and REBEL were in area liquor stores marking cases of beer and other alcoholic beverages with warning labels that spelled out the penalties for purchasing alcohol for those under 21 years old. Up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine can be imposed, the stickers state.
